Job Description
In the full time growth role at Seam, you will have the opportunity to take charge of community growth and the go-to-market strategy for our groundbreaking social media platform. You'll influence product strategy by advocating for our users and pioneering new target internet niches. This role is ideal for someone excited to shape the future of social media and eager to engage with emerging technologies like blockchain and AI.
Responsibilities
- Grow Seam userbase and channels on Instagram, Tiktok, and Twitter
- Film content and make posts to drive specific niche users to Seam
- Run campaigns and go-to-market for specific miniapps
- Establish beachhead communities and make Seam their new home
- Own communications with our users, building an inbound for feature requests, bug reports, and other input.
- Create new Seam groups, post daily content, create weird memes
- User moderation as necessary; instill good vibes
Who You Are
- Have a passion for social media, online communities, and a keen interest in exploring the future of social platforms. Bonus points for being into Tumblr, MySpace, deep internet rabbitholes.
- Basic design or coding ability to create new Seam miniapps.
- Biased towards action. Proactively notice when things could be better, and jump in to help.
- Default optimistic, big-picture thinker and collaborative problem solver.
- Comfortable with early-stage startup energy (lots of ambiguity and evolving priorities).
- New York based, in-person 4 days a week (work from home Wednesdays).
- We love a good whiteboarding session in person!
